The Highland County Democratic Committee reorganization takes place every two years in accordance with the Democratic Party of Virginia Party Plan. Just as with regular elections in a democracy, these reorganizations are meant to give Democrats in Highland County a chance to affirm or change leadership and renew and grow membership. The next reorganization of the Highland County Democratic Committee will take place on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Highland County Public Library, located at 31 N. Water Street in Monterey, Virginia. The reorganization will be done in the form of an assembled caucus with admission beginning at 2:00 PM and closing at 2:30 PM. The caucus is being called to elect committee members and committee officers.

The caucus is open to any Highland County, Virginia registered voter.
